How long will it take to get my order?
Pre-made items will be shipped immediately after payment has been received and cleared. Custom orders take 3-6 weeks to create depending on complexity of the piece, availability of materials, and volume of work. Work on custom orders will be started only after receipt and clearance of payment in full.

Will you accept rush orders on custom work?
We will accept rush orders (turnaround time is within 2 weeks) for an additional fee of $40. Rush ordering may not be available at all times as we do travel frequently. Please email to check on availability BEFORE placing a rush order.

Where are Layla's Locks produced?
Layla's Locks is based in Eugene, OR, USA. We do not have a retail storefront, but we do travel to festivals, and will ship internationally. All locks are created in a pet free, smoke free environment.

What type of materials are used in Layla's Locks?
Layla's Locks are created with a combination of new and recycled materials. All synthetic hair and yarn is new. Some of the beads and other special materials are recycled.

How long does my natural hair have to be to wear Layla's Locks?
Ideally, your natural hair should be long enough to make into a bun, but if you are able to gather it into a small ponytail, you will be able to wear Layla's Locks. Falls made from lighter materials, such as yarn or afro hair are recommended for thinner or shorter hair. Large amounts of backcombed, synthetic dreads can get rather heavy and may not anchor well into shorter or thinner hair, please keep this in mind when ordering. Pin-in accents can be worn by almost all hair types and lengths.

How are Layla's Locks attached to my hair?
Layla's Locks are secured to your natural hair using custom built elastic bases secured by beads. Yarn falls are built on a base of prefabricated hair elastics also secured by beads. I find this attachment method is one of the most simple and quick to install and very secure, especially when your natural hair is secured in a bun. I can attach falls to a lace base on special request. Pin-in accents are attached to bobby pins.

How long will my locks last?
With the proper care and maintenance, you locks will last for years of use. Please see the wear and care page for details.

What payment types will you accept?
I prefer Paypal, but will accept checks, money orders, or cash at your own risk. To send a payment via mail, I will email you with the address after your order has been placed. I can accept credit card payments through paypal. I accept funds in USD only. Shipment of pre-made work and work on custom orders will commence only after payment has been received and cleared.

Do you accept returns or exchanges?
Due to health regulations, no returns or exchanges are accepted, so we strive to make sure that you are completely happy with your order. Digital photos of all orders will be emailed prior to shipping to be sure you receive exactly what you want. If you are still unsatisfied upon receipt of your order, please email us.
